Email Account Manager API - a framework for reading, updating and creating email accounts in Outlook, Outlook Express, Windows Live Mail and Windows Mail email clients.
The API allows managing email accounts of popular email clients on Windows. There are methods for listing installed email clients and registered POP3, IMAP or HTTP (Hotmail) accounts. It can read and modify all available account data, including display name, email, POP3, IMAP, HTTP or SMTP servers, user names and passwords.
It works with Outlook (Outlook 2000, Outlook XP, Outlook 2003, Outlook 2007 and Outlook 2010), Windows Live Mail 2011 and Windows Live Mail XP, Outlook Express and Windows Mail on Vista. Both 32 and 64 bit platforms supported.
Two editions of Email Account Manager API available: .Net 2.0 library for C# and Visual Basic.Net and COM library for native languages like Visual C++ and Delphi.

- It supports Windows Live Mail 2012 and Windows Live Mail 2011 on Windows 8, Windows 7 and Windows Live Mail XP on Windows XP and Vista, also Outlook Express and Windows Mail, including 64 bit versions.
- An extension once designed for a single email client can automatically work with other supported email clients. For example, an application implemented for a Windows Live Mail will automatically work with Outlook Express and Windows Mail.
- LiveKit.dll is a lightweight dynamic link library. The size is less than 500KB. It implements a set of COM interfaces.
- LiveKitInside.dll is a lightweight .Net 2.0 and .Net 4.0 assembly. The size is less than 800KB. It provides a natural support for .Net languages such as C# and Visual Basic.Net.
